
Pain is one of the most common reasons for patients to seek medical attention and one of the most prevalent medical complaints in the US;1,2 9 out of 10 Americans aged 18 or older suffer pain at least once a month, and 42% experience it every day.3 Consequently, physicians and other practitioners need education to assist in developing the skills needed to evaluate and manage patients with pain.
